Rosemary Mustard Sausage Patties

- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion - finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped rosemary
- 1 14-ounce package of breakfast sausage
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make Rosemary Mustard Sausage Patties
In a small skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the onions and rosemary and saute for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Transfer the onions and rosemary to a large bowl. Add the sausage. mustard and pepper and mix gently. Form the sausage into 2-inch-diameter patties. Arrange the patties together on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake the sausages for about 6 minutes or until completely browned. Transfer sausage patties to stacked paper towels to drain.
Serve warm as a side to your favorite breakfast entree.
This is great as a side dish. We also love putting it on buttered toast and calling that breakfast.
