Almond Cranberry Muesli
(16 servings) Printable Version
- 5 cups old-fashioned oats (not instant)
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 3/4 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup dried cranberries (raisins will also work)
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots - optional
To make 2 servings of the muesli, combine 1 cup of the mixture above with 2 cups of milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave for 5 minutes on high. Allow cereal to cool for 3 or 4 minutes and serve warm.
You can replace the dried fruit in this recipe with other dried fruits if you wish to experiment. I sometimes add a little sugar or honey to the warm cereal too.

Very easy and good way to make many, many healthy breakfasts for 1/3 of the cost of store bought cereals. Thanks!
