Strawberry Smoothie
(2 servings) Printable Version
- 10 to 12 fresh strawberries - hulled
- 1/2 cup low-fat milk
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt)
- 8 ice cubes
Distribute between two serving glasses. Garnish each serving with a strawberry.
Enjoy.
You can also use frozen strawberries. But if it's summertime strawberry season, do yourself a favor and use those delicious, fresh, colorful strawberries.

Was good but didn't need the extra sugar. The strawberries and yogurt give it enough sweetness. I'd also cut back the milk next time to maybe 1/3 cup so the smoothie will be more thick.

I make this all the time. A lot of times I throw in a banana too. Once I added pineapple and that was good too!

Delicious and simple and I agree with the other person that you don't need added sugar, especially if you use vanilla yogurt. I loved it.

It could be done without so much sugar.

Also works okay with frozen strawberries. If you don't thaw them, you don't even need the ice cubes.
