Cheese & Bacon Christmas Tree

- 1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 and 1/2 cups shredded mild process or Cheddar cheese
- 4 slices toast - cut in half diagonally
- 4 slices cooked bacon
- finely chopped parsley for garnish
Overlap two pieces of toast (top toast with poached egg, if desired). Pour sauce over.
Form tree trunk with bacon. Garnish edges of toast with finely chopped parsley.
4 servings.
About This Recipe: We found this unusual gem in a Campbell's Tomato Soup advertisement in the December 1969 issue of Ebony Magazine.
Toast, cheese, bacon and tomato soup come together in this recipe to form a Christmas tree. Unusual and delicious.
