Diet Banana Berry Smoothie

- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 ripe banana - preferably frozen
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 2 Tablespoons protein powder
- 1/4 cup milk or water
- 1 teaspoon flax seed oil (optional)
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup or honey - to taste
How To Make A Diet Banana Berry Smoothie
Whirl the ice in a blender by itself to make "snow." If using a frozen banana, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften it just enough to peel and place in the blender, along with the strawberries and blueberries. (If using a fresh banana, just peel and place in the blender.) Whirl in the blender for 30-45 seconds until mixed. Then add the protein powder, milk, flax seed oil, and agave to sweeten. Blend until smooth and enjoy!!
This recipe was originally submitted under the name "Diet Banana-Strawberry-Blueberry Smoothie". We shortened it to be less wordy and to better show the versatile of the recipe.
The above instructions are a bit long-winded. Feel free to just toss all of the ingredients in the blender and pulse it together until smooth.
This is a great recipe that fits into the Flat Belly Diet plan, or is also good for those watching their sugar intake.
