Easy Pineapple Coffee Cake

- 1 20-ounce can Dole Crushed Pineapple
- 2 cups store-bought biscuit mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 pinch freshly grated nutmeg
Thoroughly mix the syrup, biscuit mix, egg and white sugar. Pour into a greased 8 or 9-inch square pan, and cover the top evenly with the crushed pineapple. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and a little cinnamon or nutmeg.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Now call your kaffee klatch together!

I made this cake a lot in the 70's and never wrote the recipe down, because it was on the Dole pineapple can... then it wasn't.
