Hash Brown Casserole
(4 servings) Printable Version
- 2 pounds frozen hash browns
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups grated cheddar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 1/4 cup melted butter
COMBINE next 7 ingredients and mix with hash browns.
PUT all in a greased 3 quart casserole dish.
SAUTE cornflakes in butter and sprinkle on top.
COVER and BAKE at 350 for about 40 minutes.
A big, flavorful breakfast casserole with insanely easy directions. Element of distinction: A top crust of crushed cornflakes sauteed in butter.
