Hash Browns - Crockpot Casserole

  • 1 32-oz package hash browns
  • 1 can soup - cream of mushroom or cream of chicken
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 can soup - cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
Put hash browns in crock pot. Mix soups and sour cream together. Pour over hash browns. Cut up margarine and stir into hash browns. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.


The crock pot performs magic on this one. The flavors combine and it's so moist and delicious.

I love cooking with cream of mushroom soup. It was delicious, maybe a tinge to creamy for my tastes. I would omit the sour cream next time. But very good.

Made this for Christmas morning brunch... YUMMY! Everyone thought it tasted like Cracker Barrel. I doubled the recipe and it turned out great... thanks!
