Cocoa Dyno-Bites
Introduced in 1999
This cereal was described on packages as a "sweetened rice cereal made with cocoa." Some packages encouraged consumers to "compare (it) to Cocoa Pebbles." This cereal was Malt-O-Meal's bargain brand answer to Cocoa Pebbles, a cereal introduced by Post in 1970.
Company Description: The Malt-O-Meal Company dates back to 1919 when John S. Campbell developed a hot wheat breakfast cereal he called Malt-O-Meal. The company officially adopted the name The Malt-O-Meal Company in 1953. By 1965, the company had entered the ready-to-eat non-hot breakfast sector with the introduction of Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat cereals.... Read on and see all cereals from Malt-O-Meal

Gluten-free (though maybe over-sugared) deliciousness at excellent prices. Definitely a win.

I'm a 21-year-old male from Mississippi who loves Cocoa Dyno-Bites. I tried some recently, and I think they're better than Cocoa Pebbles.

Malt-O-Meal's version of Cocoa Pebbles certainly doesn't disappoint in taste or price!

I am a 16 year old teen and nothing gets me going throughout the day better than good old Dyno Bites! I love it... one of the very few things my mom knows we kids will also enjoy!! It's gotten a bit expensive, but it's quite popular here in Southern Maine!

This looks and tastes pretty much just like Cocoa Krispies. Only it's a lot cheaper.

This cereal is the best. Better than Cocoa Krispies, Count Chocula and Cocoa Pebbles combined. You should try it if you haven't yet.
