Bacon, Cheddar & Pea Frittata

- Frittata Mixture:

6 large eggs
-
1/4 cup milk
-
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

Bacon Cheddar & Pea Filling:
-
4 slices bacon
- cut into 1/4-inch pieces
-
1 cup frozen peas
- thawed
-
2 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese
- shredded (1/2 cup)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Use a nonstick 10-inch skillet with oven-safe handle or cover handle with heavy-duty foil for baking in oven later.2. Prepare Frittata Mixture: In large bowl, with wire whisk or fork, beat eggs with milk and pepper until blended. Set Frittata Mixture aside.
3. Prepare Bacon, Cheddar & Pea Filling: In the skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour off drippings from skillet, leaving bacon. Stir in peas and cook 1 minute.
4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour Frittata Mixture over filling in skillet; sprinkle top evenly with cheese. Cook 3 minutes, without stirring, or until egg mixture begins to set around edge. Place skillet in oven and bake 10 to 12 minutes, until frittata is set.
5. To serve, gently slide frittata out of skillet and onto cutting board or platter. Cut into wedges.

Each serving: About 305 calories, 22 g protein, 8 g carbohydrate, 21 g total fat (10 g saturated), 2 g fiber, 357 mg cholesterol, 415 mg sodium.

This was horrible I think that the pea ruined the whole thing.
