I am in my 80's now and yet one off my fondest memories is as a young boy eating and enjoying 40% Bran Flakes cereal for breakfast. That great taste is just not available in today's bran cereals. BRING IT BACK!

I loved 40% Bran Flakes. Why did they ever quit making it. Is it available anywhere? What a very bad decision to stop making it.

What a poor decision on Post's behalf. Current product is nowhere near the flavor of the 40% product.

Have loved this cereal for years. I thought Post didn't make it anymore because the cereal box didn't say 40% on it. So glad to find out Post still makes this.

Let's boycott Post until they bring back the 40% Bran Flakes. This was the perfect cereal and bran flakes now are all the same in taste. May the boycott begin!

Loved them all my life... I'm 66. I dice up bananas and use brown sugar and milk... this cereal is better than Cheerios :) So... it's not possible to get this cereal any more? Someone please post where I can still get 40% Bran Flakes. Thanks!

I don't miss eating 40% Bran Flakes with milk in a bowl as much as I miss the recipes I made with it! The muffins and the orange cookies were so good! The new bran flakes really doesn't cut it. My mom and I both would LOVE to get this cereal back!

I'm lactose intolerant, so I really have little business on this site. With Lactaid, I do eat a few cereals, but not regularly. I did like the 40% bran flakes back when they were available, and now my wife needs them to made her bran cupcake recipe. By the way, I did use it to make a GREAT carp bait, as I recall!

Why do companies to this to great products or they change them to something crappy? To save money? It doesn't work if people quit buying a sucky product... it makes me lose any loyalty to the company on their other items they promote. :(

I got a recipe off the box of 40% Bran Flakes when I was a kid and it calls for 40% Bran Flakes and I can not find them any more. I tried making the chocolate drop pumpkin cake with out the 40% Bran Flakes and it does not taste the same as it did with the 40% bran flakes. Please bring them back!

The problem is that the food chemists have ruined the cereal. Now called Natural Bran Flakes, they are bigger and have been processed so they do not get soggy in milk anymore. As a result, they have no flavor. It used to be the best. Now it is awful.

LOVE this cereal but haven't been able to find it. I did notice that when I last bought it that the price had really gone up. Why? No sugar, no toys, no chocolate, just plain cereal that is good for you. Please bring it back and with a reasonable price! - Jan D. Naples, Fl.

I gew up on 40% Bran Flakes and I'd love to find a store in southern Indiana where I could purchase them. Combined with a piece of wheat bread with butter and Jif peanut butter, it was a great way to start the day. With fond memories, John

Wondering why we can't find Post 40 Percent Bran Flakes in any stores. The only place we can find them is in a Shnuck's store in St. Loius, Mo. It is about the only cereal my wife likes. She has tried other cereal but nothing is as good to her. Thanks Larry.

I used to be able to get 40% at three different stores here in Richmond VA. One was a local that was bought out by a chain, then dropped it. The other store left the area. Right now, the only place I can find it is at Farmers Foods who are only in VA and NC. I plan to keep pressing Kroger to stock it. John
