Nintendo is my favorite video game system of all time and super Mario bros is my favorite video game of all time and the Nintendo cereal deserves a comeback and Mario is the coolest guy ever. I would play super Mario bros all the time also the legend of Zelda and Mario is the best video game icon ever. He covered the eighties from top to bottom.

I really do believe that Nintendo rules. When I was six and seven, the games were very fun like super Mario Bros, the Legend of Zelda, Mega Man and Double Dragon and I always thought Super Mario Bros was the best - even the sequels were also fun. Mario can use all kinds of power ups. He can fly like Superman, shoot fire balls, be invincible with the star, turn big with the mushroom. That's what makes him very cool and Nintendo is part of my childhood. It always will be, even in the near future.

The Nintendo cereal was so cool and fun to eat and super Mario Bros is my favorite video game of all time along with Donkey Kong, Pac-man, the Legend of Zelda, Mega Man and Double Dragon. Mario is my favorite video game icon and he and his brother Luigi are the coolest guys ever. Even Mario is so cool - he knows how to save the princess from arch enemy Bowser and knows to take him down anywhere and that would make him king of the castle and save the mushroom kingdom with his power ups.

AWESOME. But I have never tried it before, but I hope it returns to my city in mid-2019.

I've have an empty box being delivered to me, but does anyone know or have any leads on how I can get my hands on the 2 bags of actual cereal short of having to spend like $400.00 to buy a box with the cereal in it?

These sounded great. Wish I tried them when I was a kid. I remember playing Nintendo at my friend's house down the block. He was huge into Nintendo and I remember he had a box of these in his Kitchen cabinet. I remember wanting to try some, but I never did. I love fruity flavored cereal too. I need a time machine.

I'm a huge video game freak mostly on Nintendo with Mario. I made it the subject of my history paper at school and they were amazed. My dad told me about this cereal and I was fascinated. Please bring it back.

This was the greatest cereal ever! The only reason I'm searching Nintendo Cereal is because out of nowhere I started singing the jingle to myself.

The Mario cereal was the better of the two. Neither were that great, but the novelty of it all was quite cool.

I liked the novelty of the two-fer packaging, but frankly the cereal wasn't all that different from the other fruit-flavored corn-based cereal on the shelves.

I remember getting up for school and eating this cereal. I was 10 years old. I was so happy I got the cereal I started singing... Super Mario jumps... Nintendo... it's for breakfast... wow... Nintendo... lol! In 2013, it will be 25 years. I hope they re-release it. I will buy 2 boxes - eating 1 and saving 1. I'm on yahoo if anyone wants to talk bout this sweet_hearted_male_07.

Does anyone have the Zelda poster they offered from this cereal? I'd be willing to pay good money for one. Thanks.

I ate this as a kid! My mom always bought it for me since I was (and still am) a huge Nintendo fan. If they brought this back, I would buy it, but this time, keeping one box unopened as a collector's item.

Being an avid gamer (and from the old school), I definitely had my share of this back in the day.
@Mystery Person: If I remember correctly, it was two separate bags

This cereal is a nerds dream breakfast!!! I want some so bad. They should continue this cereal even if it's for like a week. I'd buy a ton of boxes.

We need more video game cereals. In the late 80s when there was only a handful of games, we got this and Pacman Cereal. Now there's a billion new games but no new cereals. Boooo.

Berry Berry Kix tastes pretty much like this cereal however it's a little more crunchy. I remember the Nintendo cereal not staying too crunchy for too long so eating it fast was the best workaround :D.

Oh, Nintendo Cereal System, nostalgia at its best! (for late 20s folks anyway) As I remember, this cereal was amazing, although being a young kid when it came out, ANYTHING backed by Nintendo was. I definitely believe that cereals used to be sweeter as a whole back then, and I'm sure this product benefited from that advantage. I've actually teased a buddy of mine for years because I ate this box of rad multiple times as a child but his tyrannical parents weren't as forgiving as mine. Alas, he never experienced the wonder of the NCS, ha ha!

This is great. Commercial very funny. So was the cereal divided into two bags or different flavors?
