I'm glad I'm not the only one who loved this cereal! It had a truly unique flavor, which I totally remember, seemingly a million years later! You'd think it would be a great money-making idea to launch this again.

Frosted Rice Krinkles looked like Pebbles cereal but were white. Post made both hence the shared shape. They tasted like Frosted Rice Krispies but were a bit sweeter. Once discontinued the only similar option was Frosted Rice Krispies. They always had great prizes in addition to the sweet taste.

An interesting spoof for Wacky Packages might be "'Postpone' Starched Rice Wrinkles" (containing laundry starch).

A perfectly sweetened, crunchy cereal! Always neat prizes, too! If this made a comeback, I'd pre-order by the case if necessary.

I agree with the rest here, best cereal ever. I would keep Post in business with this comeback alone!

I was making my grocery list and my husband wanted me to get some cereal. I asked him what kind, and while he was thinking I said, "How about some Frosted Rice Krinkles?" He said, "Do you remember them?" I said, "They were my favorite kind." Wish I had some. I rate them 5 out of 5.

This was THE tastiest, yummiest cereal ever! Would be so sweet and crunchy then get a little soggy... then you would add some more crunchy back to the bowl! Yum! Please bring it back!

Best rice cereal ever. Much better than Kellogg's Rice Krispies and the Pebbles cereals can't compare. I would love to see this back on the market.

Absolutely loved this cereal and would love to see a comeback as part of a retro release, complete with glow in the dark monster grab bag!

Replying to macatac: The Chinese cartoon kid was named So-Hi, and here he is in a commercial on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhWk9zidaWE

Hi Macatac - You're thinking of So-Hi. You can see him on our page for this cereal under the name Rice Krinkles (without the "Frosted"). Click here. There's also a commercial on the page starring the little guy. Thanks for the great comment.

I am curious... what was the name of the cartoon Chinese kid who was once this cereal's spokes character? I seem to recall he had his own cartoon show. Respond if you know:
