Leapin' Lemurs
Introduced in 2008
Leapin' Leamurs is described by Nature's Path official website as follows:
"Leapin Lemurs' is a delectable pairing of peanut butter balls with chocolate balls resulting in a fun and exciting flavor with huge kid appeal. Not only does it taste great, it is gluten free, low in fat (1.5g), low in sodium (115g), low in sugar (8g) and has 8g of whole grain per 30g serving!"
Lemurs are small primates with very large eyes. They are found almost exclusively on the island of Madagascar. The name "lemur" comes from the Latin "lemures" which means "ghosts". Sadly, most species of lemur are currently on the endangered animals list.
One percent of the sales from this and other EnviroKidz cereals from Nature's Path are donated to endangered species, habitat conservation and environmental education for kids.

Good flavor, gluten-free, and generally more healthy than its compatriots... doesn't crush well, though.
