French Vanilla Granola With Almonds
As it is with all granolas from Sweet Home Farm, this cereal came in a milk carton-style container. According to the company these containers help their granolas "keep their down-home taste fresh".
The side-panel on the container gives clever instructions to make a bird feeder out of the emptied carton. Other significant text on the container includes "100% Natural Granola", "Pour on the goodness" and "Vanilla is so versatile it's used in everything from food to house paint. The French even put it in gasoline!"
The container also offers a short history of granola crediting historic cereal mavens Dr. Sylvester Graham, Dr. James Caleb Jackson and Dr. John Harvey Kellogg with its eventual creation.
Company Description: Sweet Home Farm is a division of Golden Temple of Oregon, Inc., a company started by a community of Sikhs in 1972. In addition to the granolas produced by this division, Golden Temple also produces other cereals through their Peace Cereal Division. Other products under the Golden Temple umbrella include Yogi Tea, Wha Guru Chew, Soothing Touch and Herbal Gems... Read on and see all cereals from Sweet Home Farm

Best cereal ever, best cereal/cure for digestion difficulties. Is this the exact same cereal as "Golden Temple" bulk vanilla/almond?

This is DEFINITELY my all-time favorite cereal. And I've tried many!! I used to buy it @ Garden of Eden in NYC for $6.79. My sis thought I was a fool for paying that price for cereal, nevermind a CARTON of cereal, as opposed to a box. Yeah, then she tasted it!
The only cereal that comes remotely close is Special K's Vanilla Almond cereal & even that is no match. Now I've moved out of NYC & I can't find this cereal anywhere in Massachusetts :-( which makes me very sad. I would pay top price for this stuff. Anyone know where I can get it online??

I love this granola. The only problem is that I can no longer get it at my local supplier. I see that you have it on your website, but no item number or 800 number to call. Help! - Lee
