LifeStream 8 Grain Flakes
Introduced in 1977
Before there were Nature's Path Cereal, there were LifeStream Cereals.
The original founders of Nature's Path got their feet wet in the cereal trade by starting an organic grocery store called LifeStream in 1971. The grocery store began offering it's own products under the LifeStream name by 1977.
In 1981, Kraft Philip Morris acquired the brand. Shortly after that, the producers of this cereal started the Nature's Path brand. By 1995, Nature's Path was doing so well, the company's founders were able to reacquire the LifeStream Brand.
The cereal shown here is from around 1981 - prior to or right around the time of the Kraft buy-out.

This is cereal was actually very great. I'm pretty sure it's discontinued now and I miss it.
