This green and red cereal was described on the box as "crunchy little 'Christmas cookies' with frosty sprinkles".

The box featured the Cookie Crook and his dog Chip stealing a sleigh full of Christmas Cookie-Crisp Cereal (ala The Grinch and the gifts from Whoville) as Officer Krum (The Cookie Cop) pursues waving a candy cane-striped nightstick.

The back of the box had three cut-out picture frame ornaments in the shapes of a star, a bell and wreath.

We believe this cereal was produced sometime between 1989 and 1992, likely 1991. If you know the date this cereal first appeared in stores, please leave a comment below.

Is it just me or was cereal a lot more fun 20 years ago. I can't even find Christmas Captain Crunch this year. I demand more holiday cereals!!!
