Introduced in 2009
The complete name of this cereal is Jumbo Multi-Grain Krispies. It's described on the box as "Multi-Grain Krispies Cereal with a Touch of Honey - Good Source of Fiber."
The front of the original box is funny in that it looks like the characters Snap and Pop are holding medium-sized potatoes. On closer inspection, you realize that Jumbo Krispies are the size of potatoes to people as small as Snap, Crackle & Pop.
Company Description: Kellogg's was originally founded as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company in 1906. The company's founder Will Keith Kellogg is credited with inventing corn flakes along with his brother John Harvey Kellogg. The company was renamed the Kellogg Company in 1922... Yuck. I hated this cereal. It got crazy mushy and gummy as you chewed it. I haven't seen it in the store for a few month. Good riddance.

I think that the Jumbo Krispies are a wonderful cereal. They have a very good flavor and I don't think them "turning to mush" as such a bad thing. I ate them the entire time I was pregnant and now its my 15 month old little girls favorite cereal as well and has been since the very first piece she ever tried.

Worst. Cereal. Ever. The review above is spot-on, but I would take it a step further and say Jumbo Rice Krispies aren't just "not special" but flat-out disgusting. Very odd flavor and the pieces disintegrate into a soft paste in your mouth almost immediately. This "melt in your mouth" quality is the reason I am giving this product a positive recommendation ONLY as a good cereal to possibly start very young children on if you are trying to wean them from oatmeal for breakfast. Honestly, though, I don't know if even toddlers would go for it.

Well they are certainly jumbo. The flavor is very oddly sweet. And not in a good way. It's really odd. And, I am a sugary cereal loving gal. Unfortunately, these are not quite as crispy as normal rice kripies. Nothing special about this cereal really.
