As denoted on the box, this spoon-size shredded wheat cereal is "made with real vanilla and other natural flavor, with almonds baked in" and it's "made with 100% natural whole grain wheat."

A more detailed description titled "Simple Goodness" appears on the back of the original box:

"Life is complicated, your cereal shouldn't be. Simply put. Post Vanilla Almond Shredded Wheat is the essence of simple goodness. Each biscuit is made with 100% whole grain wheat - a natural source of fiber - and real vanilla, with almonds baked in.

This was absolutely the best shredded wheat cereal I've ever had! Of course, that meant it would be discontinued. Post really should bring it back!

I really like this cereal! I'm not a fan of artificial almond flavorings, so was happy to see that it uses real almonds in the ingredients. Though the "nutty" flavor is not very pronounced, the vanilla flavor and warmness of the whole wheat make for a truly delicious flavor. Doesn't taste "too healthy" thanks to the added sugar - but packs in a nice serving of fiber. I highly recommend!
