Country Corn Bran
This cereal was described on the box as "crisp corn bran squares with a light honey taste."
While we don't currently have the date this cereal first appeared in grocery stores, we know that General Mills filed for trademark registration of the name "Country Corn Bran" in May of 1979.

We got this cereal in Tucson, AZ in 1978 or 1979 as a 'trial' that the grocery store cashier told us about. It came wrapped in brown paper. I LOVED it, but I never actually saw it on store shelves that I recall.
