Introduced in 1995


This cereal was described on the box as "delicious flakes of toasted corn cereal blended with honey roasted pecans." A French Vanilla Almond version of the cereal was introduced at the same time. Both were promoted with the tag line, "Exciting New Flavors in a Delicious New Cereal!"

The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel (when the cereal was first introduced) were corn, sugar, pecans, high fructose corn syrup, salt, corn syrup, honey, natural butter flavor and other natural flavors, caramel color, peanuts and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.





The back of the first box of this cereal gave us the following description:

"Discover How Tempting A Breakfast Cereal Can Taste. You've never tasted a breakfast cereal like this. New Kellogg's Temptations Honey Roasted Pecan cereal gives you an adventure in taste every morning. Open the box and experience the flavorful aroma of honey roasted pecans. I love this cereal and I still remember the taste of it. I have been looking online for this cereal to see if I can purchase it. Will they be selling this cereal again? I would be willing to pay more for it! Please! I want this cereal!
