This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "100% natural energy cereal" with "hearty flakes... crunchy nut clusters... walnuts... pecans."
The back of the box describes the product like this:
"Open box. Power up. Go Nuts! Maple Nut is a delicious blend of hearty flakes and crunchy nut clusters made with oats, puffed wheat, walnuts, pecans, and sweetened with maple. Even if you have two left feet, this energy-dense combination will help you get started on the right foot."
Company Description: This company was founded in 2002 by Brendan Synnott and Kelly Flatley as a natural and organic food company. In 2007, it was sold to Kellogg's Kashi division. The flakes are a close substitute to the classic Buc-Wheats... not quite as strong of a maple flavor. Overall - a very tasty cereal.
