This cereal has been described on the box as a "ready-sweetened rice cereal" and as a "sweetened, toasted rice cereal."

Snap! Crackle! and Pop! (of regular Rice Krispies fame) were the cereal's mascots. They were shown on an early version of the box in a winter setting with snow accumulated on their tiny hats while the word "frosted" appeared to be frosted with ice.

Known Premiums: Fruity Scented Marker inside the box and a send-away offer for Disney Figurines.

AJ, Frosted Rice Krispies have been around for a long time. Wal Mart, Publix and Food City carry them in my area. They are now in a light blue box. Good luck.

When did Frosted Rice Krispies come out? Always thought this should have been made... now I see it was. Very hard to find. Web says Target is the closest place for me to find it.

I just found this cereal on a Harris Teeter clearance rack. Tried it but wasn't too impressed. Just tasted like generic sweetened Rice Krispies, nothing exciting.

Love this cereal! Rare to find in my area, so I pick up a few boxes at a time when I find it. Perfect - not too sweet but don't need to put sugar on 'em.
