This cereal is described on the box as a "caramel flavored whole grain corn & oat cereal."

Upon its introduction, the back of the box offered the following description:

Dulce de Leche is a Spanish term for a thick caramel sauce popular in Latin America that inspired this new Cheerios flavor. It is now August 2014 and I just discovered Dulce de Leche Cheerios. Fabulous! Is this flavor still being produced? I hope!
