Introduced in 2011
This limited edition cereal's complete name was Kellogg's Disney Pixar Cars 2 Cereal. It was described on the box as a "frosted multi-grain cereal with red-circled fun." The cereal pieces resembled tan and red Cheerios. The cereal was a promotional tie-in for the animated film Cars 2, also released in 2011.
The back of the cereal box had a word game called "Let's Help Lightning McQueen Figure Out What City He's In Now!" and a code puzzle with these instructions: "Finn McMissile needs some secret items for his mission. Can you help decode the phrase for Holley Shiftwell? Help find out what he needs."

Company Description: Kellogg's was originally founded as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company in 1906. The company's founder Will Keith Kellogg is credited with inventing corn flakes along with his brother John Harvey Kellogg. The company was renamed the Kellogg Company in 1922... Bring back the cereal. Children love it. Grandson won't eat cereal now as it's not Cars cereal. Can't seem to buy it from anywhere no more.

Please bring this cereal back out... Or can you ship me some boxes... My son is in love with Lightning McQueen... He just saw this cereal... And he is going crazy... I never knew this cereal was even in stores... Because if I did I would have bought it out with a couple of other parents... lol... I know at least ten other parents who have never heard of this cereal even being out... But they are wanting to purchase this cereal.
