Whole Hearts
Introduced in 2012
This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "lightly sweetened oat cereal." The cereal pieces are shaped like little hearts and their flavor is very similar to Cheerios from General Mills.
When Whole Hearts was introduced in January of 2012, the back of the box gave this description:
"Nourish what counts! Discover this smart and satisfying way to help support heart health and nourish what matters most. Every delicious bite of Quaker Whole Hearts cereal helps you care for yourself and the people you love. These heart-shaped oats are lightly sweetened and toasted to perfection. With 14g of heart-healthy whole grain oats, 3g of total fiber, and 6g of sugar in every serving, it's a little bit of love in every bite. Make it part of your heart-healthy lifestyle."

This was the only cereal that was enjoyed by ALL my family. Can't believe they stopped making it. Wish I could express my disappointment to Quaker. But it's not on their website for comments.

I no longer eat breakfast. Because of the fat in eggs and the cholesterol, I used to eat Cheerios but when I tried whole hearts, I was hooked. Best cereal ever bar none. I can't stand Cheerios anymore and I have put no less than 24 boxes of different cereals in the garbage after one taste. I can't stand them. Please bring Whole Hearts back. They were the best ever.

I've read that Whole Hearts is similar to Cheerios, but I cannot stand Cheerios and loved Whole Hearts, so of course it was discontinued.

I've been a healthy cereal connoisseur for many years and was extremely disappointed when I stopped seeing Whole Hearts on the grocery store shelves. Even more when I learned it was discontinued. It is obvious Quaker lacked time and marketing strategy for this cereal to have a chance to take off. It by far blasts Cherrios out of the milk when it comes to taste and nutrition. So sad when a company has such a great product but does not have the know how to get it into the mouths of the consumer. Millions if not billions of $ lost and a world of deprived cereal lovers.

The best cereal ever. The BEST. So of course, let's stop selling it? What is wrong with Quaker Oats? Just make it and people will buy it! Just look at the comments here. We love it. Big mistake.

I love this cereal. Why did they stop selling it? Is it because it is like the Kashi cereal with hearts, but less expensive?
