This cereal is described on the box as a "naturally and artificially flavored lightly sweetened whole grain cereal (with) a satisfying, tasty crunch of whole grain fiber." At the time of the cereal's introduction, it came out in only one flavor... brown sugar.

The back of the cereal box describes the cereal like this:

"A big breakfast in a little biscuit... a tasty square packed with a crunch and whole grain fiber that helps keep you full. It's a big breakfast in a new little biscuit."

The first 5 ingredients listed on the side panel are whole wheat flour, whole grain oat flour, sugar, whole grain malted wheat flour and whole grain yellow corn flour.
