This cereal is described on the front of the box as "lightly crunchy nuggets, granola, cranberries, puffed barley and a touch of natural vanilla flavor" that provide "power-packed nutrition for your everyday adventure." Upon its introduction, the cereal came out in one flavor, Cranberry Vanilla.

The back of the box gave this longer description of the cereal:

"Complementing your daily physical fitness routine with a balanced diet is one of the best recipes for a healthy, happy and active life! To help you reach your healthy lifestyle goals, Grape-Nuts Fit cereal offers power-packed nutrition for your action-packed day. Made with a medley of flavors and textures, including lightly crunchy nuggets, crispy granola, puffed barley, cranberries and a hint of natural vanilla flavor, Grape-Nuts Fit is a delicious way to fuel your active day!"

The first 5 ingredients listed on the side panel are whole grain wheat flour, whole grain puffed barley, dried cranberries, whole grain rolled oats and brown sugar.

This cereal is really great, I actually DID add the remains of a partial box of Original Grape-Nuts, so I agree with the review that the added texture and crunch could be an improvement. But the combination of mellow sweet vanilla and chewy tart cranberries is SO nice. I loved it with yogurt or milk both.
