This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "barley & oat cereal (with) 3 antioxidants... (with) flax & chia for natural nutty goodness!"

The cereal pieces are Cheerios-like loops with noticeable seeds adhered to most of the pieces.

In the summer of 2013, the back of the box gave this description of the cereal:

"Nutty flavor and a satisfyingly light crunch go into our Heart to Heart Nutty Chia Flax cereal. You'll savor every spoonful knowing it's made with a blend of flax and chia seeds and walnuts, which give you 320mg of beneficial ALA omega-3s per serving. My mom said it tastes like grass. It's... unique, to be sure. It has kind of a strange earthy flavor, slightly sweet, and very crunchy. I won't be buying it again.
