Introduced in 1993
The front of the box described this cereal as "sweetened corn puffs with cinnamon and a touch of honey." The back of the box gave the following description:
"Traditional south of the border flavor made right here in the U.S.A. - In the tradition of delicious Mexican pasties, Bunuelitos is the new cereal with the great flavor combination of cinnamon (canela), sugar (azucar) & honey (miel). Now you can enjoy the authentic flavor of bunuelos for breakfast."

These were excellent. They were like Kix, but sweeter and with cinnamon. I've been hoping for their return for 23 years.
