Great Grains: Blueberry Pomegranate
Introduced in 2013
The front of the box announces that this cereal has "real pomegranate juice, nutritious blueberries and fiber packed multi grain flakes and clusters."
The back of the box offers this description: "Our delicious whole grain flakes are combined with multi grain clusters, naturally nutritious blueberries and cranberries with real pomegranate juice. Blueberry Pomegranate cereal also has 31g of whole grain and 5g of natural fiber per serving. It's whole foods from the field to your bowl, with whole grains, fiber and nutritious ingredients in every bite.
Short Review By Mr Breakfast:
When you pour a bowl, it smells more like tea than it does cereal. Luckily, that's just an indication that the dried fruits in the cereal are powerful and prevalent. I don't get a lot of pomegranate flavor, but there's plenty of blueberry. I thought the cranberries in the cereal might be distracting, but they actually seem to compound the blueberry flavor more than anything. There's no change to the Great Grains base cereal - reliably good flakes with a scant amount of clusters. I liked this cereal. I give it a 5 out 7.
