Poppin' Pebbles
Introduced in 2014
This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "sweetened rice cereal with Poppin' Pieces (which) fizzes in your mouth with burstin' berry flavor." The Flintstones character Pebbles and Bamm Bamm are featured on the front and back of the packaging. The cereal is comprised of traditional Pebbles cereal pieces and tiny green balls which fizzle in your mouth when penetrated by saliva, ala Pop Rocks candies.
The back of the box (in January 2014), featured an activity panel called "Poppin' To The Top Maze" with "Poppin' Pebbles Launchers!" For the game, you line up the green pieces from the cereal and flick them across the game board (back of the box) to get different point values. It's like Skee Ball for your fingers.
If you deconstruct the cereal box, a recipe for Pebbles Marshmallow Crispy Treats is printed opposite the front panel.
The first 4 ingredients listed on the side panel are rice, sugar, Poppin' Pieces and carbonated crystals.
It's interesting to note that Kellogg's tried the "fizz in your mouth" concept back in 2000 with a cereal called Powerpuff Girls.
Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a coffee substitute called Postum. The first breakfast cereal to come from the company was Grape-Nuts in 1897... Read on and see all cereals from Post

OMG! It's the only cereal that I liked, seriously. It's so good I cried when they were discontinued.
