Introduced in 2015
This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "lightly sweetened oat and ancient grain cereal". The box indicates that it contains oats and quinoa, Kamut wheat and spelt. A prominent graphic also announces that it has "17 grams of whole grain" (per serving).
The back of the box is titled "Meet The Ancient Grains". It describes Kamut wheat as having a "rich buttery taste"; spelt as having a "sweet hazelnut taste"; and quinoa as having a "nutty taste in a crunchy oat cluster".
Additional text on the back of the box says, "Quinoa, spelt and Kamut wheat we are grains that have been around for centuries... that's why they're ancient! We did not discover them, we simply uncovered a way to deliciously enjoy them. Each grain brings a unique texture and flavor to every spoonful. Plus, Cheerios + Ancient Grains offers a great deal of health benefits with a taste your whole family will love!"

I think this cereal is very tasty for a healthy cereal. The nuts and grain pieces have a buttery sweet taste to them. However, they come in a small box and they cost more than most cereals on the shelves. I think a small box runs $4 and change.

I was hoping to find some recipes with which I could use up the unused cereal. Maybe it is best used as an ingredient instead of as breakfast cereal.
