Fruit & Nut Granola
Introduced in 1982
Sunbelt Fruit & Nut Granola Cereal (Raisins, Dates & Almonds) is a quality granola cereal that's usually sold for a much lower cost than similar cereals from more recognizable brands. In June of 2008, a 16 ounce box could be purchased for $2.19 in California.
According to the box, this cereal offers the following qualities: "Great Taste", "with Whole Grain Oats" and "Oats Wheat Rice".
The back of the box in the sumer of 2008 featured a montage of active young people and one strangely-out-of-place older man with a camera. The text from the back of the box reads as follows:
"Sunbelt - Fits Your Daily Adventure. Every day is an adventure. You never know exactly what to expect. That's why it's nice to have a convenient snack available. Sunbelt Snacks are perfect when you need a little extra energy any time of day. You can depend on Sunbelt to fit your daily adventure."

I buy this cereal at Costcutter in Blaine, WA, when they have it. Lately they have not had any. I usually buy 4-6 boxes at a time.

I am trying to find this cereal as well. I have tried others and don't like nearly as well. Walmart apparently quit carrying in my area code of 83201... can't find it anywhere.
