Introduced in 1983
This cereal was described on the front of the box as an "artificial strawberry flavored rice cereal." Just as Cocoa Krispies consist of chocolate flavored, brown crisp rice, Strawberry Krispies was strawberry flavored, pinkish red crisp rice.
A coupon for the cereal announced, "What a great sound... and what a great new strawberry taste!"
The ingredients listed were rice, sugar, corn syrup, malt flavoring, artificial flavoring, artificial coloring and a smattering of infused vitamins and minerals.
The back of the only cereal box we could find featured an activity panel titled, "Find The Hidden Treasures In Strawberry Town, U.S.A.!"
Strawberry Krispies 2019
Strawberry Krispies disappeared for many years. But in 2019, it returned to shelves labeled as "new". The reintroduced version is described on the front of the box as a "strawberry flavored sweetened rice cereal."
The ingredients in the 2019 version were rice, sugar, contains 2% or less of vegetable juice for color, salt, malt flavor, natural flavor, beta-carotene for color, plus a smattering of vitamins and minerals.

I loved this version of Krispies in the 1980's and wish they would bring it back.

This and S'mores Grahams were my favorite cereals growing up! I'm genuinely surprised Kellogg's hasn't brought it back. The version they made with dried strawberries just wasn't the same.

Another cereal I've never heard of, but it sounds fantastic.
