Frosted Mini-Wheats: Pumpkin Spice

This limited edition cereal started to appear on store shelves in the late summer of 2015.

Kellogg's website announced that they were "bringing everyone's favorite fall flavor to the breakfast table (with) eight layers of wheat and one layer of sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger."

The cereal box features a beautiful image of the cereal surrounded by mini pumpkins, cinnamon sticks and powdered spices.

The back of the box features a partial recipe for Pumpkin Spice Mini Muffins and the following text describing the cereal: "You'll fall in love with the flavor... with the first delicious taste of pumpkin spice (with) delicious cinnamon and nutmeg blended with sweet allspice and ginger."

The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel include whole grain wheat, sugar, brown rice syrup, cinnamon, ginger, gelatin, nutmeg, allspice, annatto extract color, natural flavor and BHT for freshness.

Where can I get the full recipe for pumpkin spice mini muffins? Hard to find on internet. Why the teaser on back of the box?

I have not found them in Florida. Daughter in Pennsylvania told us about them. Now the store in North Wales is out of them. Will they be shipping them to Florida?

These were awesome. I'm a shredded wheat fan and these were a great tasting cereal. It really balanced a great taste of the Fall spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. It had a good sweetness and it's easy to down a box. I hope they bring these back for future Fall seasons.
