This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "naturally and artificially flavored multigrain cereal." The cereal pieces are shaped like traditional Life cereal squares with 60 to 70 tiny indentations per piece (both sides) which provide crunch and absorb milk. The vanilla flavor is very noticeable. Some might complain that it has a slightly artificial flavor.

The back of the introductory box featured an activity panel titled, "Your BUSY MORNING is all about get up and go!" with a find-the-items puzzle within a picture of a house.





The first 6 ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain oat flour, sugar, corn flour, whole wheat flour, rice flour and salt.

It's interesting to to note that there was another vanilla flavored Life cereal back in 2006 called Vanilla Yogurt Crunch Life (previously called just Vanilla Yogurt Life).

I love vanilla. It's amazing. So when I say that this is the most disgusting cereal I've ever eaten, understand that I really wanted to like it. It's horrible. I had to rinse out my mouth after a bite. The aftertaste is horrible too. What were they thinking?!
