Orange Creampop Crunch
Introduced in 2016
The complete name of this limited edition cereal is Cap'n Crunch's Orange Creampop Crunch. It's described on the front of the box as a "naturally & artificially flavored sweetened corn & oat cereal". The box shows Cap'n Crunch holding an orange creampop (an orange and vanilla frozen ice cream treat) over a bowl of the cereal. The cereal pieces are orange-ish and pillow-shaped like traditional Cap'n Crunch cereal.
The back of the introductory box has an activity panel called "I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Orange Cream!" In addition to a couple of word games and a "find 50 oranges" puzzle, the box features special appearances by some of great, mostly-obscure cereal characters from Quaker and Cap'n Crunch's past. They include:
- Quake from Quake Cereal
- Wilma The Winsome White Whale from Vanilly Crunch Cereal Ads
- Simon the Quangaroo from Orange Quangaroos Cereal
- Jean LaFoote - Cap'n Crunch's nemesis from the time of Cinnamon Crunch Cereal
- Seadog and crew mates from the S. S. Guppy who are most associated with regular Cap'n Crunch Cereal
Most online reviews of Orange Creampop Crunch have been positive, usually stating the the flavor of orange creamsicle does come across.
In related orange cream breakfast product news... It might be interesting to note that Kellogg's introduced limited edition Orange Cream Pop-Tarts in 2010 whose packaging included images of orange cream pops.

If they are going to show Wilma The Winsome White Whale, then they should bring back Vanilly Crunch!

I was lucky to try this cereal for the short time that my local ACME supermarket carried it. I think it was only on the shelves for about 2 weeks straight and then they no longer carried it. It was a really good tasting cereal. I think they could've went heavier on the orange and cream taste, but it still was a unique and good tasting cereal. I wish more orange & cream cereals were made. I'd recommend this if you can still find a box at your local supermarket.

If they are going to show Jean LaFoote, please bring back Cinnamon Crunch.
