Very Berry Cheerios
Introduced in 2017
This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "sweetened whole grain oat cereal (that is) flavored with real fruit and other natural flavors." The cereal pieces are round and donut-like like traditional Cheerios that are light pink speckled with red and purple specs of fruit.
The back of the box says, "So berry good. When it comes to a delicious breakfast you can't beat the taste of real berries combined with the wholesome goodness of whole grain oats."
The first 15 ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain oats, sugar, corn syrup, oat bran, corn starch, salt, blueberry powder, canola oil, cane sugar, tripotassium phosphate, strawberry powder, cranberry powder, raspberry powder, vegetable and fruit juice and natural flavor.
This cereal is similar in flavor to Berry Burst Cheerios Triple Berry Cereal that was introduced in 2003. However, that cereal did not have the distinct specks of fruit that you see in this cereal.
