Press material about the release of this cereal describes it like this: "The same magical marshmallows you love, now with crunchy, lightly frosted flakes. Nobody does marshmallows like Lucky charms!" The cereal is basically frosted corn flakes (similar to Kellogg's classic Frosted Flakes) mixed with classic Lucky Charms marshmallows. The marshmallows are shaped like hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, blue moons, hourglasses, rainbows and tasty red balloons.

The front of the introductory box features Lucky the Leprechaun sliding down a rainbow into a bowl of the cereal. The back of the box has a panel titled, "How would you describe the magically delicious taste?" where consumers are encouraged to place marshmallows from the box over pictures of corresponding marshmallows.





The first 10 ingredients listed on the nutritional panel are whole grain corn, sugar, corn meal, marshmallows, cornstarch, corn syrup, salt, Refiner's syrup, malt syrup and canola oil.

This is by far my favorite cereal of 2018 and 2019 combined and if you remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Spiderman Cereal from Ralston in the early 90's then this cereal is as close as you will find.
