Introduced in 2018
This cookie-shaped cereal is based on the classic Chips Ahoy! cookie that was introduced by Nabisco in 1963. In the early part of 2018, it was available exclusively at Walmart stores with a plan to make it available to other grocery outlets after April 2018. The cereal pieces are very reminiscent of those in Cookie-Crisp Cereal (Ralston; 1977).
At the same time this cereal came out, Post also introduced Nutter Butter Cereal. Both cereals could be considered companions with another cookie-based cereal... Post Oreo O's (introduced in 1998 and reintroduced in 2017).
Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a coffee substitute called Postum. The first breakfast cereal to come from the company was Grape-Nuts in 1897... Read on and see all cereals from Post
