This cereal consists of multi-grain flakes and oat clusters flavored with almond butter and peanut butter.
The back of the cereal box gives the following description: "With 8 grams of plant protein per serving (not counting the milk!) - our delicious Nut Butter Cereal powers your day. Serving up equal parts of taste and nutrients, your whole family will go nuts for Nut Butter Cereal."
The side of the box says, "Go Nuts For Plant Powered Protein! The world is waking up to the need to eat more plants - even for our protein. It's better for the health of our bodies and for the planet."
The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain rolled oats, cane sugar, cornmeal, yellow corn flour, sunflower oil, almond butter, peanut butter, sprouted brown rice protein, sea salt, honey, rice starch and tocopherols (vitamin E).
When this cereal was introduced, Nature's Path also introduced a partner cereal called Honey & Peanut Nut Butter Crunch.
