This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "naturally flavored with other natural flavors multigrain cereal." Except for the word "strawberry" and a picture of a sliced strawberry in a cereal bowl, there's nothing else on the box to describe the flavor. The cereal pieces are the same shape and texture as Wheat Chex, Corn Chex and Rice Chex.

The Quaker website gives a colorful description of Strawberry Chex: "Sweet as a summer day, the taste of strawberry will be sure to make everyone smile. Enjoy the crunchy wholesomeness of Strawberry Life Cereal made with whole grain Quaker Oats for a delicious, healthy breakfast no matter the season."





The back panel of the introductory box had a promotion for the film Hotel Transylvania 3 with a "Save $5" off a movie ticket offer and a maze game called "Mummy Maze" with the text: "Oh no! It looks like Murray's having a tough day at sea - he's practically coming unraveled! Navigate the maze to help him untangle his wraps and get back to having fun!"





The first 8 ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain oat flour, sugar, corn flour, whole wheat flour, rice flour, calcium carbonate, salt and natural flavor.

It should be noted that there was another strawberry flavored Life cereal introduced in 2012 called Life Strawberry Crunchtime. That cereal had round pieces slightly reminiscent of Honeycomb cereal.
