The complete name of this cereal is Hostess Donettes. It's described on the front of the box as "powdered mini donuts."

The back of the introductory box gives a longer description: "Mini donuts bring MEGA smiles! Hostess Donettes cereal turns an all-time snack favorite into a cereal bowl-friendly treat. We took everything you love about Hostess Donettes fresh-baked cakey goodness with a delicious, superfine coating of powdered sugar and created a perfect mini version for your cereal bowl. Try a bowl of Hostess Donettes cereal - a delicious way to make every day a little sweeter."





The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are dextrose, sugar, corn flour, hydrogenated vegetable oil, wheat flour, whole grain oat flour, corn syrup, salt, canola oil, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, natural and artificial flavor, BHT added to preserve freshness, and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.





Hostess Donettes Cereal joins a great legacy of cereals based on donuts which includes:

Yummy cereal with cute little donut shapes. Just add milk let it set for at least 2 mins so it can soak the it in for the best flavor. I think it tastes close to powdered donuts as a cereal can get. Try a box and find out.
