Twenty-five years after Kellogg's introduced Pop-Tarts Crunch cereal, the company has given us a new cereal called Pop-Tarts Cereal (minus the "crunch"). It's available in 2 different varieties: 1) Frosted Strawberry; and 2) Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon. It's rumored that a S'mores chocolate marshmallow version of the cereal was planned but ultimately dropped.

The back of the cereal boxes describes new Pop-Tarts cereal like this: "Unleash ridiculous levels of Pop-Tarts flavor with filling and frosting in every bite!... Happiness is frosting on both sides!... Ever dream of tiny, crunchy Pop-Tarts? Pinch yourself - It's real life... Amazing Pop-Tarts flavor all up in your bowl!... Grab a spoon, get some milk and make your face happy with the world-famous Pop-Tarts flavor and wild crunch!"








In 1994, Kellogg's debuted a strikingly similar cereal called Pop-Tarts CRUNCH. That cereal also came in Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Strawberry varieties. Pop-Tarts Crunch lasted a little over a year.

There is also a Cookies and Creme version of this cereal available at Wal-Mart. Look it up.
