Twinkies
Introduced in 2019
The complete name of this cereal is Hostess Twinkies Cereal. It's based on the classic snack cake that was invented in 1930. The cereal pieces resemble miniature versions of the snack cake.
The back of the box describes the cereal like this: "The snack cake golden child is now a cereal! The creamy, cakey, golden goodness that has enchanted the masses for generations is now making its debut on your breakfast table. Now you can enjoy all that classic flavor in a new way with Hostess Twinkies cereal. Try a bowl, and its guaranteed to brighten your day. One sweet bite at a time!"
The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are dextrose, sugar, corn flour, hydrogenated vegetable oil, wheat flour, whole grain oat flour, salt, corn syrup, canola oil, calcium carbonate, natural and artificial flavor, yellow 5, yellow 6, BHT added to preserve freshness, and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.
Other Hostess treat themed cereals from Post include Donettes cereal and Honey Bun cereal.

At first there is nothing reminiscent about Twinkies. After a few minutes of stirring, the obnoxious sweetened powder on the cereal mixes with the milk to give it some of the cream filling flavor. The sponge cake flavor never catches up. Pretty disappoint, pretty nasty!
