In 2011, the company's website described the product like this: "We've taken our crispy flakes and tasty, crunchy oat clusters from Honey Bunches of Oats and added slices of almonds. We're proud of this nutty idea!"

The cereal box has described it as "crispy flakes, crunch oats & a touch of honey!"

Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a coffee substitute called Postum. This is a gourmet cereal. Too bad the recipe seems to have changed - less honey and almonds. Still good though!

Oh so good! I haven't had this cereal in years because my body can't handle so much sugar in the morning and the consequent carbo crash around 10 AM. However, I do remember this stuff as yummy, crunchy, good. As you approach the bottom of the bowl, the milk develops a truly splendid flavor. Maybe one day I'll revisit and use it as or in desserts.
