Honey Smacks
Cereal boxes declared this cereal to be "honey smackin' good!" and described the product as "honey sweet toasted puffs of wheat" or "honey-sweetened puffs of wheat."
This cereal was originally introduced as Sugar Smacks in 1953. It has also gone by just Smacks.
The cereal's mascot, as with Sugar Smacks, was a frog in a baseball cap named Dig 'Em.

Banned here in Australia due to the high sugar content, but nevertheless it's one of the best! Well, except our mascot was a namby-pamby little bear.... :(

I buy a box about twice a month. Great snack at night. For some reason, I like a bowl of Smacks and a cold coke... but still long for the discontinued Rice Honeys... sigh...mand the three baking soda frogmen that came in the cereal
