Batman Returns
Introduced in 1992
This cereal was described on the box as "crunchy chocolate cereal with fun-shaped marshmallows". The cereal pieces resembled Chex cereal and the marshmallows came in the shapes of Batman's mask, Batman's famous bat-shield symbol, the bat car and a top hot ala The Penguin's hat.
The cereal was a tie-in promotion for the 1992 film Batman Returns directed by Tim Burton and starring Michel Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito.
Three years earlier, Ralston produced Batman Cereal to coincide with the release of the film Batman - the prequel to Batman Returns.
Known premiums for Batman Returns cereal include static cling stickers and an entry form to win a "funtastic set of Kenner Batman toys."
The box we got our hands on had a cut-out Batman Returns Double-Vision Imager (1 of 3). If you cut out the imager, folded it and placed it a fair distance away, you could see one image of batman change to another image of batman when you moved your head.

Basically the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal except with chocolate Chex. Not bad at all but I prefer the TMNT cereal.

Like someone else already said... this cereal also made my childhood. Being a huge Batman fan my whole life, I remember eating this every day and the excitement leading up to Batman Returns movie. This seriously though was the best tasting cereal I have ever had and I would love if it came back. The Batman vs Superman movie is coming. How about re-branding it for that film? That would be amazing!

This cereal made my childhood. I loved everything that had Batman on it. But the bonus was that it also tasted great!

Ha. You should change "bat car" to "Batmobile". Everyone knows its called the Batmobile! Vroooom vroom!
