Artificially flavored fruit punch cereal fortified with B-Vitamins & Iron.
A television commercial described Punch Crunch like this: "Little pink rings with a big pink flavor just like fruit punch... a dandy part of a nutritious breakfast."

It was good! It didn't have that funny after taste as most fruit/berry flavored cereals.

Cap'n Crunch's Punch Crunch was the best cereal you could ever eat. It was full of fruity flavor! Please, believe me when I say that this cereal was the best thing since sliced bread (which is pretty great).

It was my favorite as a little kid - even better in my opinion than Crunch Berries! I was really frustrated when it disappeared. I think they should give it another shot.

This was a great product idea. Unfortunately the mass production flavor profile never matched the test market flavor. It lasted a few years and died a slow and painful death. Trial but no repeat. By the mid 70's, it was gone.
